This isn’t your usual music class or circle time. Connected Start is where movement, music play and learning connect. Here is where we set high expectations and build skills that give your child the greatest head start.
Circle times that engage, educate and enhance skills
During circle times with Miss Saira, we use props, puppets, songs and rhymes to build those early skills that will serve your child their entire life.
We will:
- Foster connection & trust
- Develop language
- Introduce numeracy
- Strengthen social and emotional skills
- Build confidence
- Develop fine and gross motor skills
- Connect with other caregivers and build community
And most importantly…make learning fun!

Join us on Tuesday October 29 at 11:30am for music, movement, crafts, sensory play and snacks!

Private Group Classes
Our most popular option for caregivers who want an individualized program with their little ones in mind.

What’s Included:
- 45 minutes of music, movement and play.
- Learn using engaging puppets, sensory play, parachute play and bubble time. (All materials provided).
- 4 - 8-week session options
Extras:
- Customize classes based on interests of children (making playdough, exploring STEM, process art, etc.)
- Miss Saira adjusts the program as the children grow and are ready to learn more
Cost: $30/child/class minimum of 6 children and maximum of 10 children

Birthday Parties
Make Their Few Special Days Even More Special
With most entertainment geared towards older children, finding age-appropriate activities for your child’s first, second and third birthdays can be difficult. But not impossible – our programs are specifically geared toward little ones aged 0-3.
What’s included:
- Up to 60 minutes of music, movement and play for up to 15 children (*children <3 require a parent nearby).
- Entertainment with engaging puppets, sensory play, parachute play and bubble time.
- All materials, including shakers, scarves, and sensory materials provided.
Extras:
- No mess Sensory Canvas Painting (+$5/child).
- Each child creates their own canvas painting to take home. This beautiful keepsake comes with a custom message from the birthday child.
Cost: $200 – $250
Developmentally Appropriate Learning
We create awesome programs that match the way kids’ brains work best. That means we keep things fun and engaging, while still making sure they’re age-appropriate and in line with how children actually learn. But here’s the thing: we also know that kids are capable of some seriously impressive stuff, so we always give them the chance to stretch and challenge themselves! Each new stage builds on what came before it, so they’ll be learning effortlessly and naturally, with a rock-solid foundation to support them all the way.

That’s why my classes are developed using evidence-based practices and fun-filled activities and props. Working with children as long as I have, I can quickly adjust and change gears depending on the child to keep them focused and encourage learning.
I believe my wide range of experience has helped me develop a well-rounded approach to helping children learn. I am an Ontario-certified teacher with over 15 years of experience (five of which were teaching Kindergarten). I regularly work with daycares and other childcare providers to focus on connected learning – the kind that fosters positive connections and helps children’s development.
As well, as a parent myself, I know how much you want to give your children the best head start in life and how much confusing and conflicting information is out there. That’s why I want to give you and your child a simple method that works.
I also want to help parents be engaged with their child’s education, even at the earliest stage. That’s why I give you the tools you need to build your confidence when playing with your child and support their learning at home.

I get it – life happens! I try to be as fair and reasonable so if your child is sick, we can talk about possible solutions together, such as providing a make-up class or, if many children are absent, rescheduling the class altogether.
